Yesterday was unreal. Almost 12 hours of driving, 2 hrs on the metro, and 4 hrs of exercising my first amendment rights with 100,000 wonderfully diverse friends. No cops, no violence, no destruction. Just loud and meaningful resistance. ✊🏼💙

I didn’t realize how truly fucked up my family was until Trump. He was the final straw that opened the gates to the land of no return. I know we are all burning and full of rage, but last night I noticed dry skin on my heel during teeth brushing and my 9yr old son got on the floor and pumice stoned it to smooth perfection after telling me “I would do anything for my mama.” It was a much needed gesture of wonderful in my world 🧡
