Can no longer buy pillows from my preferred shop in the UK and have them sent to Ireland. Brexit was dumb, but so is not making trade cheaper and easier now

Russia has 10% the GDP and 30% the population of the EU. There is no reason we can't afford to maintain our own defense. And if we do, we should buy European weapons. It's good economic stimulus and R&D

I have spent the last month trying to build a heat pump deployment strategy for my town and have come around to this point of view. Even in Belgium, with the worst spark gap in the EU (3.8 as of H1 2023), heat pumps can beat gas if they are installed well. 1/
