I would love to print some new comics for TCAF using Canadian printers, does anyone have recs? Bonus if they are in Toronto!

i have so many emails to catch up on now and so many chores and i have to do taxes even though i wish none of us were paying those because why would be paying to fund the disappearing of people off the streets

On my way home after a busy family trip, it was nice to spend time with them and try to make happy memories for my nephews but now im very eager to get back to the real world tbh 😅

slow your roll, Sisyphus (1/3)

Wip

Traveling for the week and THIS TIME i will be using my sketchbook

Why does this sloth look so demure so mindful

A video obtained by @nytimes.com clearly refutes the Israeli military's narrative on the aid convoy attack: Israeli troops opened fire on clearly marked ambulances that had their emergency lights on. 15 aid workers were killed. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/04/w...

Let's be clear that even if they were "criminals" this should not happen and also the guys deciding what constitutes a crime are white supremicists anyway

Driving to portland and back in a day is not smart but i lived

“The Japanese American National Museum says Trump admin may withhold as much as $2 million approved by the Biden admin.” “Facing pressure to scrub its website of diversity and inclusion references, a JANM leader says the museum will ‘scrub nothing.’” www.latimes.com/entertainmen...

little wip

Harper Collins did not sign. So weird how being owned by Rupert Murdoch means they can't even advocate for their own survival. Libraries are a HUGE part of all publishers' bottom lines. If you can't speak out bc it's right, speak out bc otherwise this destroys your bottom line ffs

For people just finding out today Rick Steves has always been a real one and is one of the few voices who has never shied away from his stance on legalizing marijuana, the threat of fascism and how cool it is to travel in Europe and truly steep in its history.

A deeply felt review by Amy Hirayama upon publication of "The Gate of Memory: Poems by Descendants of Nikkei Wartime Incarceration." Join us this Thursday 4/10 at Elliott Bay Books in Seattle with editors Brynn Saito and Brandon Shimoda and four of the poets anthologized.

Donald Trump’s recent attempt to invoke the Alien Enemies Act has sparked much interest in the roundup and internment of Issei during WWII, the most recent use of this 1798 law. So here is a brief outline of what our Issei leaders experienced the last time the Alien Enemies Act was invoked.

"Gaffney said the kids’ friends are wondering where they are." Reminds me so much of this photo taken after all the Japanese american kids were taken away to camps

A mother and her three children were snatched by ICE from a dairy farm in Sackets Harbor, a rural town in northern New York. But the location is no coincidence—Tom Homan, Trump’s border czar, LIVES THERE. He allowed his own neighbors, including a third grader, to be jailed. Deplorable.

not to hijack but i made a comic about this once way long ago!!
