These men were building us homes. The violence is being committed by ICE — masked men, no ID, no warrants. Don’t believe the rhetoric being pushed by violent criminals about ‘violent criminals’ cause it’s all BS. Call your Reps and demand they hold hearings, sanctioned or not. This needs to stop.

I’m listening to a full cast audiobook which gave accents to characters named Munoz and Ito for no good reason. The books are set in an urban fantasy Houston. Nothing in the text supports the choice to give them accents. In fact, the idioms suggest otherwise. It others them unnecessarily, and ick.

The first commercial air disaster in 16 years happened shortly after Trump froze hiring air traffic controllers, fired the FAA director, and politicized air safety. This prescient tweet dropped 12 hours before the crash, and 24 hours before Trump blamed Obama, Biden, and DEI. Unbelievable.

Ray of sunshine: one of the 4th graders I work with got bullied today by 5 of his classmates. Not only was he comfortable telling his teacher, he immediately met with the counselor, and the 4 bullies went with him and the counselor 10 minutes later. This is these kids’ norm. For now, anyway
