Bisque kiln fired and unloaded ✅ #Rabbitcreekstudio will be busy the next 7-8 days glazing all of this work and then glaze firing in the gas kiln. This work will be available at our Spring Pottery Sale on Saturday April 19th. Hopping for some Easter cheer!

My process sculpting a walrus into a mug. First I push out the basic shape from the inside a couple hours after throwing. Next day add handles, and let dry several hours before sculpting the details onto the walrus…this last step shown here in high speed. Favorite tool? Porcupine quill!
