On a train the last 24 hours and have witnessed the most beautiful display of empathy and support. A man on our train is clearly afflicted with addiction issues. He’s STRUGGLING with not being allowed to have a cigarette and he’s been preemptively banned from purchasing alcohol on the train.

Five years after a drunk driver hit my stepson head on, breaking every bone from the waist down, he has finally healed enough to return to work. It's been such a long journey for him, and I'm so proud of all the hard work he's put in to get here.
