The weird obsession with seed oils is so strong. I’m legitimately allergic to two seed/oils and I’m on less of a mission than RFK about this.

I don't know how many times we can ring an alarm bell on the blatant authoritarianism before the bell just breaks.

They should all stop covering him now. He craves this. Let him pound sand. www.politico.com/news/2025/02...

<<rings alarm bells louder>>

This is 🤯

EO: "restablishes the longstanding norm that only the Prez or AG can speak for the US when stating an opinion as to what the law is" I'm a constitutional scholar. This is not how it work. Fuck you.

The horrors persist but the sound of moving something to the trash on a Mac still makes me warm and fuzzy. It's the small things.

Just got word from a former student working in the federal government that he was terminated today. Like thousands of other dedicated employees, his work saved taxpayers millions of dollars and did the good work of government. So much for efficiency.

A news alert that has "Trump" and "Putin" in it is my equivalent of seeing my shadow and forecasting another six weeks of winter.

If other news outlets had half a conscience they’d refuse to attend the next Oval Office event

In a disgraceful act betraying millions of their own residents, Iowa, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming all write to oppose birthright citizenship.

Two agencies so far (USAID and CFPB) have been taken over by cabinet level secretaries and effectively gutted. At what point do we admit that there's a coup underway? And no, I don't throw that term around lightly.

Just to be clear: this isn’t “treatment” and the center wasn’t a “medical” center.

Cowboy Carter is one of the most consequential albums of the 21st century and it deserved that award.

Living through Orwell’s 1984 is infinitely more exhausting than I anticipated.

Think about how despicable of a human being you have to be to say something like this.

Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day, and people in the US are forced to hide in their attics to avoid being captured by armed agents of the state.

It's the literal first line.

Today upon reading Schenck v. US one of my students reasoned that people of the 1910s were not as well-reasoned as we are now and that such types of prosecutions wouldn't happen. I told him to read Trump's executive order "defending women from gender ideology extremism."

New post on my Substack inspired by an exasperated passing comment a former student made this week.

I guess I better hype up and start posting here since it seems like people are coming over now. <<INSERT HOT TAKE>>

Well, @jasonkosnoski.bsky.social, here I am. You got me on this platform. Don't let me down.
