"In his first term, Trump failed to build a wall. He failed to marshal the resources from Congress, failed to gain a consensus of American opinion and failed at everything administrations do in a democracy to advance policy."

Woody Guthrie

He's my first child. He's 8, a cranky old man. But he has recently become protective of our baby, trying to snuggle him when he cries and letting baby pull his hair. People told me having a baby would put our dogs on the back burner but instead it's made me love them more.

General Charles Q. Brown Jr., Faithfully and Honorably served the Constitution and The People of the US for 41-years in the USAF. His last posting was as the 21st Chairman of The Joint Chiefs of Staff. He was unjustly fired by the dangerously unqualified SECDEF. I proudly stand with Gen. Brown.

The Associated Press is suing three Trump administration officials after being barred from some White House events and spaces, citing a violation of First and Fifth Amendment rights.

Leaders from Egypt, Jordan and other Arab states met in Saudi Arabia to discuss alternative plans for Gaza's future than the one laid out by President Trump, which calls for displacing Palestinians.

Happy 50th Birthday to Albuquerque‘s Main Library! Across the country – our public libraries are vital to our communities and our democracy. As a bonafide bibliophile and lover of libraries, I am proud to be on the front lines defending these vital institutions. Support your local public library!

Russia, Russia, Russia was True, True, True!

The Trump administration halted defunding of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau after the city of Baltimore and a nonprofit filed a lawsuit.

NEW: In a win for democracy, the U.S. Supreme Court paused an emergency request from Trump and allowed the head of the whistleblower agency to remain in office until a Feb. 26 hearing.

"While Florida insurers claimed to be losing money in the wake of hurricanes Irma and Michael, their parent companies and affiliates were making billions of dollars, according to a study obtained by the Herald/Times." And it appears that the DeSantis administration tried to keep it under wraps.

Always darkest before the dawn. Keep your chins up, we're gonna win this fight.

Happy Saturday BlueSky Resisters We Are Now @ 32 Million & Counting We’ll crush X 2 the ground!!!

May I gently remind you that in the Budapest memorandum where Ukraine gave up the nukes, 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🇷🇺 guaranteed “to refrain from economic coercion designed to subordinate to their own interest the exercise by Ukraine of the rights inherent in its sovereignty and thus to secure advantages of any kind.” 🧵

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

. General Mark Milley was right . . . ... and he's still right ! 💠 👊 💠

Also if you feel strongly about Eric Adams, you should call your city councilmember to express that and ask for their position. You’d be surprised. Hochul’s stance is highly disappointing but it doesn’t come from nowhere. Press all your electeds. City elections are in 5 months. Ask candidates too.

Thousands of Hungarian judges, court staff and supporters marched to the ministry of justice in Budapest on Sat, demanding judicial independence, freedom of expression for judges and better pay. The independence of Hungary's courts is causing a rift between PM Orban's nationalist gov and EU.

And I am an ally. If you are too, let the world know.
