It’s hard to ignore the echoes. Hitler also led a failed insurrection before rising to power — the Beer Hall Putsch in 1923. A decade later, he was chancellor. In his first weeks, he attacked the press, demanded loyalty, undermined democracy, and spread lies. Sound familiar?

Trump is 78, the average human is dead by 73, with mental decline worsening in their 60’s. What I’m getting at is that I don’t believe he has much to lose; he will be on his way out of office and life… there’s a real fear that he’ll do whatever he pleases without a care of what he leaves behind.
