I tried to look up the most recent avg spending at target and I saw $1,000 for the avg household. In the last several years I definitely spent 2-3x more than that there, getting school supplies, back to school clothes, gifts and gift cards, notebooks, pens, dog food, dog treats, etc. Not anymore!
