I got placed in a shelter with my own room. It's amazing what you'll take for granted. I'm thankful to have a pillow that's got more than one inch of fluff and a room all to myself!

I can't stress how much suffering this trauma response causes. People messaging me first or just checking on me is such a breath of fresh air and reassuring that I am not, in fact, annoying and people are not constantly mad at me. Autism and Trauma are absolute bastards together.
