I feel like the bad perception of "WIFI" for gaming or just general use for desktop pc's is just the incredible quantity of just bad chips or faulty ones. I used to repair pcs as a side thing while back and the amount of faulty chips specially intel mini pci-e ones was kinda insane...

I managed to revive my mom's phone by opening it up (by having it near my stove, because glue) and just giving the battery direct 5v for a few hours, it just over discharged, the usb port was a little dirty and the charger she gave me does not seem to give the correct power rating. [1/2]
