This is not a smart man.

MP Rupert Lowe is director of Covid testing kit firm that boosted profits with public cash, making £7.9 million profit AND claiming £100,000 in furlough❌😡 Farage & Tice took £120K in furlough whilst saying it should be scrapped❌ Furlough was funded by us taxpayers❌ #ReformsIsTheHyocritesParty

Morning all. Have a beautiful day ☺️💜🙏

Just goes to show.. you can be self absorbed, bigoted and twisted, self serving with absolutely nothing to offer or worthwhile to say… And still get a guest slot on Question Time 38 times👇🏼🙄

Mike Keil, the chief executive of the consumer council for water, said a survey showed 58% of the public grudgingly accepted that their water bills would have to go up to fund much needed investment in infrastructure. #notpartofthe58%

This morning I'm off to visit a lovely project in Brighton, very close to the council estate I grew up on. Looking forward to meeting organisers and users. moulsecoombforestgarden.org

Important upcoming dates to note. 😊👇 via @angusmain.bsky.social 👏 #Bluesky #Christmas

In just 3 years the Standing Charge in the UK has tripled. Some people are now paying 50% or more of what they were paying in 2021. Just to have access to electricity. It is a ripoff on everyone and it should be illegal.

My colleague Greg just sent me this. I love Greg 🤣

Allison Pearson claimed police accused her of a “non-crime hate incident” after a tweet misidentifying a protest photo. Essex Police say that never happened, releasing footage to prove it. Pearson now says she might have “misheard” – but not before the Telegraph ran three front pages on the claim.

This insightful article by Gemma addresses the urgent issue of gender-based violence, emphasising the need for honest dialogue, mutual respect, and active participation by men and women to create a safer world. Call it out 🙌🏼

Made a little parody vid of Bluesky & MAGA trolls 😜

How do 10,000 people die annually by snails?

A remarkable piece this. A @hopenothate.org.uk activist Infiltrated Britain First... and... well it's even worse than you might think hopenothate.org.uk/britain-firs...

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Etymology of the day: to be ‘blowing a hoolie’ (or ‘hooley’) was probably inspired by the Orkney word ‘hoolan’, a howling gale, with a touch of the ‘hooley’ that is a very noisy party thrown in.

Yet another story of a hypocritical, ill informed Tory repeating lies from the Daily Express, in three parts …

Startlingly accurate!

Brilliantly funny from Russ: "private schools are...designed to propel those with rich parents to the top of society, regardless of ability. Such in-group, masturbatory, self-congratulation helps explain why 44% of journalists are buying Clarkson’s narrative" open.substack.com/pub/bylinesu...

Almost impossible to imagine a similar article being written about a male (read: any other in history) Chancellor. One argument in this article includes a man saying her master’s course wasn’t very hard. And that because she ‘only’ got a 2.1 at Oxford, she shouldn’t have got in.

My neighbours four year old has been learning Spanish throughout the summer holidays. He still doesn't know how to say 'please' which I think it's poor for four. #badjokefriday

A recent photo of the river Exe and some trees in the mist. Sorry, I apologise for posting Exe/tree/mist views on Bluesky.

1. The difference so far (and for god's sake let's keep it that way) between X and Bluesky is not between right and left but between abuse and respect. A good society is built on mutual respect. But what does this mean? A short thread.🧵

I just read Another England: How to Reclaim our National Story by @carolinelucas.bsky.social - it confronts the squeamishness the Left has with Englishness and makes a compelling case for reframing our cultural narratives (for there shouldn't be just one), through inspiring literary works 1/

BREAKING: Water regulator Ofwat announces it will block three water companies from using customers money to pay £1.5m in bonuses👏

Combined responses to MTG’s threat to bring the House of Cards tumbling down if fellow Republicans expose Matt Gaetz’s crimes, starting with Bsky’s very own @jojofromjerz.bsky.social.

‘I’d take a bullet for Richard Desmond…’ Absolute class I’ll never get bored of watching this 😂😂😂
