Just one observation on the Black Hawk /airliner crash - the standard method for air traffickers to report conflicting traffic is using a clock face and distance format. E g. "Do you have visual with traffic 10 o'clock 2 miles?" I have not heard this on any of the voice recordings I have yet heard.

If we now have to assume that social media is not fact checked, it is unwise to trust it. The irony now is that social media is doing exactly what people accuse the "media" of doing - LYING!

Very sad to read of death of Johnie Walker, 60s radio DJ, (Radio England and Caroline pirate stations). He turned me on to Otis Redding which led me first to soul and later to blues music. Will always remember him.

NK is losing 50 soldiers killed per day in Ukraine. We have to assume probably 100 injured. That's going to put quite a strain on their battlefield medics! Worst case scenario - NK nukes Kiev in retaliation. Best case scenario - NK nukes Moscow for not providing air cover and drone counter measures!
