to me Qimir also represents this kind of hyper-rationalist politics, pursuit of “jailbreak” and sociopathy in search of supposed freedom. like many ppl who turn to violence he is hurt/traumatised. makes it all the more sad that the Acolyte is cancelled given its complex political prescience
