1 March 1932 | German Jew, Hans Fred Aron, was born in Essen. In January 1942 he was deported to the ghetto in Riga and in November 1943 he was deported to #Auschwitz. He was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection.

27 February 1897 | A Czech Jewish woman, Irma Straková, was born. She was incarcerated in the Theresienstadt ghetto on 24 October 1942 & two days later deported to #Auschwitz in a group of 1,866 Jews. She was murdered in a gas chamber with 1618 people, incl. her husband Karel.
