There's something terrible about a dragon at work ordering Burger King and getting a bag with images of dragons on it that reads "the legends are real" in a fancy font. A little ironic, a little sad. I should be out there hunting prey, with claws and teeth!

Driving through the forest never fails to get me feeling the yearnings to be a dragon and abandon society to live in the wild. Wish I could get a second chance. I got bad RNG the first time round. Maybe that yearning's not surprising considering I'm a forest dragon! But human life has made me soft.

Reminded of when I was starting to come to terms with being nonhuman again after rejecting it for a couple years, in 2022. I was showing my uncle a photo of my VRC avatar at one point, and he asked me a question. "So this is what you would want to look like if you could?" I couldn't say no.
