Any gamification companies heading to #GDC?

finally got my gdc flight. 8am is gonna kill me but at least i nabbed decent layovers.

Feeling bored this morning so hit me up with #cybersecurity questions. I'll see what I can answer.

Whenever I see a student pursuing cybersecurity, a solid question to ask them is "What is the best Anti-Virus program?" There are a multitude of ways to respond to this question, and more often than not it forces them to think deeper about the differences in protection needed for different groups.

can i find a job opening in Colorado that *doesnt* require clearance?

GDC soon, pretty excited to attend the expo.

Gotta get those GDC hotels today oop

You love to see it😍 figures from this year's GDC survey. 58% of game devs support unionisation. 🙌 Only 10% oppose it. 29% of companies support unionising. We're building a union for every game dev in the UK games industry. Join us here: iwgb.org.uk/en/join/game...

Something to think about in 2025 is how we support startups. A monopoly isn't bad just because they control everything. A monopoly is bad because it is a single point of failure in the livelihoods of thousands. We need to rapidly diversify the US economy with new businesses, as soon as we can.

jealous of the little man tbh

Actual pro tip: the best way to break into any creative profession is by helping to support and advance other creators. Your peers are not your adversaries. They are your support group.

got a few things on todays slate, lets go

cnn on the downward spiral no one could have foreseen

saw a cool jr gamedev role but sucks that roles higher up the chain at the same studio have half my salary. also a senior-level hiring process for a jr role is wild too.

experian sent me an email that my credit was getting high (holidays, duh) i realized my salary was not on file so that might be why they are concerned. i enter my salary and my experian fico score plummets 23 points. lol what

took a look at the job seekers work books (industry + new job seekers) and while the numbers are intimidating (2685 people searching for jobs) only 11% of job seekers are after engineering roles in the US.

I think we should slot the country into the lake. It would be very satisfying

this is a really cool rejection letter except i did not apply to a position here lol

how can a former boxer have this much power?
