Tobias Harris will remain out tomorrow night when the Pistons play at the Clippers, but Isaiah Stewart - who missed last night's win at Utah with a lower-back contusion - is listed as probable.

The Pistons are 24-10 since their Dec. 19 loss to Utah. That's more than 40 percent of the season, well past small-sample noise. An array of numbers say they're a top-5 team over that span. www.nba.com/pistons/news...

FINAL: Pistons 134, Jazz 106 Good start to a 4-game road trip without Tobias Harris and Isaiah Stewart. Cade Cunningham 29 and 9 assists. Jalen Duren 16 and 12 with 2 assists, 4 blocks, 2 steals.

The Pistons season high for points off turnovers is 40. That was the last time they played Utah. Tonight, with 3 minutes left, they have 36 points off 27 Jazz turnovers.

Ausar Thompson 17 points, 7 of 7 shooting, 7 boards, 5 assists, a block and 3 steals.

Pistons with 13 steals midway through the fourth quarter - Cunningham 4, Thompson 3, Duren 2. Season high is 15 last week vs. Denver. Pistons up 23 with 5:54 left.

END 3Q: Pistons 98, Jazz 77 Pistons 98 points through three quarters despite shooting 25 percent from 3. Jazz 21 turnovers.

HALF: Pistons 67, Jazz 47 Cade Cunningham 18. Jazz with 18 (!) turnovers.

END 1Q: Pistons 36, Jazz 22 Utah with 11 turnovers. Kyle Filipowski having more than a little trouble containing Jalen Duren, who has 8 points and 3 blocks coming off a career-best 6. Pistons outscored Jazz 21-6 over the last 6 minutes. Malik Beasley 2 of 5 from 3, 8 points.

Pistons on a 12-0 run, all without Cade Cunningham. Jazz 8 turnovers. Pistons lead 27-16 at 2:56.

Game 62 Malik Beasley starts as Pistons open 4-game trip without Harris, Stewart

Isaiah Stewart a late scratch for the Pistons with a lower back contusion. They're also without Tobias Harris for tonight's 9 p.m. tip at Utah.

J.B.Bickerstaff wins Coach of the Month

Tobias Harris listed as out tonight at Utah due to personal reasons as the Pistons open a four-game road trip

In a week that saw the Pistons play 5 games in 7 days, they went 4-1 and won in all manners. It's the evolution of a young team - one now firmly on a path the postseason. This week's Pistons Digest: www.nba.com/pistons/news...

A good night for the Pistons with both Miami and Orlando losing at home, the Heat blowing a lead to the Knicks and losing in overtime and the Magic suffering a bad loss to the Raptors. Pistons up 5 on Miami, 5 1/2 on Orlando.

Malik Beasley is on pace to make 328 3-point baskets for the season. That would rank No. 6 in NBA history behind 4 Steph Curry seasons and 1 from James Harden.

FINAL: Pistons 115, Nets 94 Jalen Duren 18 and 11 with career-high 6 blocks, 2 assists, 2 steals Season-high 15 blocks and 36 (tie) fast-break points (but also a season-high 27 turnovers) for the Pistons, who start a key 4-game road trip on Monday at Utah.

Career-high 6 blocks for Jalen Duren. Had 5 vs. Washington 11/27/23.

Pistons saw a 25-point lead cut to 6, but it's back to 16 now. Malik Beasley just got tossed after some jawing along the Brooklyn sideline. Pistons no longer flat-lining. 6:39 to go.

END 3Q: Pistons 81, Nets 75 A very bad end to the quarter. Nets finish on 14-2 run. Pistons turnovers, stagnant offense, opened the door for the Nets.

END 3Q: Pistons 81, Nets 75 A bad stretch to end the quarter. Nets finish on a 14-2 run.

With 4:05 still left in the third quarter, the Pistons have set a season high for blocked shots with 12. Duren with 5, Stewart with 3, Cunningham with 2. It's been a flat quarter, but the Pistons still lead by 18.

HALF: Pistons 68, Nets 45 Pistons shot 57.5 overall, 56.3 from 3. They have 12 turnovers, otherwise an impressive half coming off a loss and playing their 5th game in 7 days.

Quite the game Jalen Duren has going: 13 points, 9 boards, 4 blocks, 2 assists, 2 steals with 3 minutes to go in the half

Pistons take biggest lead at 51-33 with 6:58 left and Nets get a timeout. Cade Cunningham, after a season-low 11 points last night, has taken just 1 shot and has 1 point in 9 minutes. Pistons with 27 points off the bench, including 17 for Beasley.

END 1Q: Pistons 39, Nets 22 Malik Beasley 14 points, 4 of 5 from 3. Pistons shot 68 percent overall and 7 of 9 from 3. If not for 6 turnovers, the lead would be well over 20.

Pistons get the second timeout at 2:56. They lead 29-16, but the Nets have hit 3 straight triples after opening 0 of 6. Cade Cunningham with 2 fouls.

Pistons force the game's first timeout at 7:33, leading 14-4. Brooklyn 1 of 8 to open. Jalen Duren 6 points, 5 boards, 2 blocks.

Game 61 Pistons attempt to start new win streak

J.B. Bickerstaff, asked about Jokic and Murray, said, "I'm going to give Mike Malone credit tonight." Felt Malone's tech in the opening minutes took away his team's ability to play physically. "Then we were no longer allowed to play physical."

FINAL: Nuggets 134, Pistons 119 Pistons longest win streak in 17 years ends at 8. Denver finishes 17 of 31 from 3. Pistons host the Nets tomorrow for their 5th game in 7 days. Denver's starters outscored Pistons starters 113-54

Pistons about to clear the bench. Waters, Sasser, Klintman ready to check in with Nuggets up 22 at 4:11. Denver is an absurd 57 percent from 3.

Ausar Thompson back-to-back games of 5 steals

Cade Cunningham, Tobias Harris coming back at 6:52 with the Pistons down 18

END 3Q: Nuggets 107, Pistons 87 Pistons shooting 41.6 percent and 30 percent from 3. Nuggets 55.2 percent and 14 of 25 (56 percent) from 3.

Nuggets up 23 with 2:32 left in the third quarter. It's the 4th game in 6 days for the Pistons and tomorrow will make 5 in 7. So I wouldn't expect J.B. Bickerstaff to push the starters much in the fourth quarter unless they whittle this down to a manageable number soon.

Cade Cunningham's first bucket comes at 4:25 of the third quarter after a 0 of 6 start. Pistons down 20.

Pistons open the second half shooting 3 of 12 and have dropped 16 down to Denver with 6:11 left 3Q.

HALF: Nuggets 68, Pistons 63 Pistons probably feel OK given Denver's hot start from 3, the foul trouble early to Duren and Cunningham and Cunningham sitting with 1 points and 2 assists on 3 shots at halftime.

Ausar Thompson with a highlight reel Eurostep around Jordan for a layup to pull the Pistons within a point, 49-48, and Denver gets timeout at 6:54 2Q.

Jalen Duren barely makes it a minute into the second quarter before picking up a third foul at 10:51. No move yet to the bench.

END 1Q: Nuggets 39, Pistons 31 Nuggets 6 of 9 from 3 and 9 of 11 free throws. Jokic 6/6/3 Pistons 5 of 11 from 3 but just 2 of 3 free throws. Beasley 11 points.

And here come the Pistons. An 18-point deficit is now 8 after Malik Beasley's third triple of the quarter makes it 32-24 and forces a Denver timeout at 2:57. Beasley 9 points, 3 of 5 from 3 in 3-plus minutes.

Pistons getting whipsawed by Denver hitting 5 of 6 from 3 and also from a 6-1 disparity in fouls. Nuggets already with 9 free throws. Pistons down 13.

And now 2 on Cade Cunningham at 7:18. Pistons down 18-9. Nuggets are 4 of 5 from 3. Pistons timeout at 7:12.

2 fouls on Jalen Duren at 8:25 and Isaiah Stewart with an early entry

With Orlando's loss tonight via Steph Curry's 56 points, the Pistons are 5 games up on both Orlando and Miami for the No. 6 spot. ESPN's projected standings give the Pistons a 95 percent chance of avoiding the play-in round.
