The court ordered that NIH grant funding be unfrozen, so The Regime found a way around it. For NIH grants to be funded, a review panel must rank them. In order for a review panel to meet, they must post it on the Federal Register. Submissions to the Federal Register are now on hold “indefinitely”.

I attended a figure drawing class tonight and it was a breath of fresh air. Surrounded by artists in an inclusive and safe space creating art. Don’t forget to create art through this battle, it grounds us back to our humanity and the beauty in all people.

I’m thinking about federal income tax. If the federal government isn’t meeting its obligations why should we? Specifically, I’d love to see states get the money first and hold it in trust pending litigation. I want to pay my taxes but not to a government that doesn’t respect the constitution.

As any parent knows, if you want to know what you sound like, just listen to your kids. So X’s “I want you to shut the fuck up,” speaks volumes to me about how this boy is spoken to at home. I know its fun to chuckle at him belittling the president, but its also sad.
