Me: Tomorrow is *technically* our anniversary Husband: it’s our actual anniversary. Nothing technical about it. Me: just because it’s literally something doesn’t mean it isn’t also technically something. They’re not mutually exclusive. Husband: *glares* I’m technically right, the best kind.

If you’ve never “fried” a muffin in butter, you should. Blueberry is the best. But chocolate chip is good too. Cut muffin in half, put it in a pan with a little butter until it gets crunchy bits. Then flip it over, add more butter, and squish it down a bit. More crispy bits. You’re welcome.

Every time I see a video of a surprised opossum angry hissing at a human I think, "Yeah, I get it." I also think about the guy I asked to catch me an opossum and when he tried, he came running back shrieking, "I didn't know they hissed."
