The Chronicles of Prydain has such a good set up for a campaign structure. In the first book, the hero Taran lives in Caer Dalben, a farm run by Coll and the wizard Dalben. As he adventures, both allies and defeated foes move to Caer Dalben, establishing a stable of characters to draw from.

I’d like to see more videos of people playing TTRPGs to show off the game rules so that you can see what they actually look like at the table. I love actual plays for the stories and casts playing quirky PCs etc but some of them are terrible at conveying rules context.
