I’m seeing a lot of soft takes from industry mutuals at the moment that we shouldn’t be so hard on those who use generative AI because it’s becoming harder and harder to resist. Wrong. Betraying your ethics (and your peers) because ‘everyone else is doing it’ does not suddenly make it acceptable.

We need to talk. If you're going to make a "narrative-driven" game, you need to have professional, ergonomic, narrative tools that facilitate narrative pipelines, design, writing, editing, and collaboration with other disciplines, particularly localization, audio and performance (if any).

No. As someone who worked on a live service game, live service fundamentally changes how you develop & implement Narrative. Equally important, A LOT of people don't understand how to cultivate/manage a healthy content release schedule--for devs & players. I know it looks REALLY appealing, but no.
