I was a casual gamer as a kid, I very much preferred playing outside. It was not until Doom 2, OoT, and FFVIII that I changed my idea of games. And the main reason? Gameplay? Maybe, but it was the music. I was flabbergasted by them, to the point I was listening to game music on the regular.
