The Guard said it was a result of guidance from Sec Hegseth (DOD) dated 01/31/2025 and titled "Identity Months Dead at DOD". It bars military departments from using federal resources

So today, Sunday, was full of interesting things. This morning, I heard about the Maryland National Guard pulling out of a parade m after this month in Easton Maryland to celebrate not just Black History month but Frederick Douglass's birthday. It seems the event planners sent a memo.

I'm watching Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse "Live" on CSPAN @9:29 PM "debating", but it's pretty much filibustering on Voughts nomination. He's doing a really great job of breaking this man, project 2025, and his cohorts down. I'm really proud of the Dems tonite. Pray they keep it up :)
