I felt similarly about Tears. Later realized that the Green Mechano Goo is super OP and everything is balanced against that and I just didn't enjoy diving into that so much.

Look at that classic Stockton Rush job. Movin' fast and breakin' things.

It's really ridiculous that it took as long as a whole damned Olympics. I think you can only justify an All-Star replacement that lasts a single weekend. Some kind of qualification on day one and tournament on day two. But anything without Draisaitl is kinda dumb.

I think Tomorrow Never Dies has actually aged pretty well. Maybe I'll give it a watch to see if that actually holds up. The only Craig one I thoroughly enjoyed was Skyfall. I think Casino is super boring. Quantum is just bad. You're totally right though. It's schlock and that's fine.

These are scenarios that scare me.

In theory

Possibly but that would require others coming to our aid and the situation in Ukraine makes me wonder if that's realistic to hope for.

You are far more optimistic than I am. He needs to declare war on someone to impose martial law. We're the scapegoat.

There is no hockey when the countries are at war. All their contracts will vaporize.

Canada should pull out 1 hour before game time in protest. Of course they would never consider such things.

They make slow-closing seats/lids for that purpose. I recommend.

If he helps the opposition win a championship in Boston they will torch his house before he returns.

Sure hope he shows up for all the pathetic sycophants in Boston to bend the knee to kiss his ass.

This, in itself, is not a damning argument against the technology. The tech may KNOW about Tiananmen Square it just can't TELL you about it. The damning argument is the need to go through everything word by word, paragraph by paragraph, double checking every source to root out the hallucinations.

Yup. That's the final lynchpin. They either march on DC in the name of justice and freedom or they march on the rest of the world in the name of the opposite of that.

Or they don't do that and airlines simply raise prices and return to being a prestige luxury for the upper class, hopefully without any reduction in crashes and fatalities. 🤞 Consumer air travel allows too much freedom of movement for the likes of fascists.
comment in response to post
They don't want a middle class.

The very idea that you're going to convince people that it's anything other than obvious external pressures from your suppliers and their digital competitors is laughable. It's tantamount to shouting "I have literally no idea what I'm doing but I sure am an asshole!"

Towing cars and jumping batteries in Canada feels like a step down but ya gotta follow your passion, I guess.
