It incredible what consistency pieces for for runeblades, huh. Exciting to finally see a talentless hero hit LL!

After 5 years, I'm proud to say I have finally dethroned Cayle in the #fabtcg NZ exp leaderboards. Shoutout to Caffeinated Dragon, Cerberus Games, TCGCulture and the occasional cheeky Hobby Lords for providing us with such wonderful third spaces.

Had a pretty good #fabtcg road to nationals as viserai today: R1 - W - Zen R2 - W - Viserai R3 - W - Ira R4 - W - Prism R5 - W - Nuu (CYB) T8 - W - Aurora T4 - L - Prism Lost to the eventual winner off some truly heinous bricks, but otherwise had a really good day.

fabtcg.com/ja/articles/... Congrats to Shoma on his free money. Hes a great guy and deserves it, but I will admit what I wanted to see most from this was a Tansei Hiroyuki / Shou Miyahara / Xavier McLean / Shoma Yamamura (i.e. the '23 and '24 top 2 nationals) grudge match.

Its an interesting place to be in for #fabtcg R2N season: concerned about losing ELO to all the local vampires whose ratings are low but skills - and/or matchups - are good. Its actually seriously dampening my enthusiasm for events, which is a major pity.

Interesting observation on #fabtcg HNT draft: I 4-0'd a local armory last night (9 person pod) as fang. My deck was 27 commons, 3 rares. 4 equipment (2 guardwell, 2 alert). I had 8 unplayables / hate drafts (mostly defense reactions & black widows). How cool to have slot rarity feel irrelevant.

Ended 7-4 at the #fabtcg calling christchurch on viserai Slightly bummed to miss top 8, but getting blind top deck double blazing'd by a Kano in the later rounds is probably something I deserve. Event was a blast, and my relief that my stream mistake didn't cost me a game is still overpowering :D

I purchased one box of HNT, because I apparently can't learn my goddamn lesson and still buy a little sealed each set. Theres something especially galling when the foil majestic of a #fabtcg box is of an expansion slot card that also comes in extended art: why do these exist, except to feel bad?

Are you ready for some sweet sweet mangaweka #fabtcg action? Featuring the most barely functional combo a man can dream of:

So many new peeps joining the bsky #fabtcg community today! This calls for a welcome giveaway. 🥰 To enter: follow, reshare, and comment the card you’re most hoping to pull this weekend at your local prerelease! On Monday I’ll draw 2 winners to each receive a set (2 copies) of scarf promos! 🧣

Goodbye link step, you will be missed you absolutely miserable pile of niche rules interactions.

My arthritis has flared up in my right pinky and index kunckles, and sliiiiightly affected their motions, such that I keep typing `?I` or `IO` instead of just `I` when going for the right shift. Its remarkably annoying for such a small physical deviation.

As a runeblade enjoyer, it really is both ends of the #fabtcg spectrum this spoiler season. I guess we're just that spoiled with the ROS common attacks! (wizard? never heard of them)

My #fabtcg year in review... hmm. Best MU: enigma, when I had tomes Worst MU: enigma, sans tomes? Or maybe enigma as vis / as kano?

Hyyyyyype! Taihape last year was a blast, so I'm looking forward to this one even more, even if Shannon stole the plane.

Amazing #fabtcg marriage of flavour and mechanic, I love it!

Fun little observation: thus far this #fabtcg season all heroes that have gained >= 200 LL points are from MST, or are runeblades. Less fun observation: the only MST or runeblade hero to not have >= 200 LL points this season is Vynnset.

Maybe its good I'll be spending tomorrow at a #fabtcg battle hardened....

FREEDOM! (until the oral examination next year)

Don't worry, if we wait 15minutes after release in welly the weather will flip to midwinter again

It amazes me that when searching google scholar for a paper, searching for the author's name and the year of publication doesn't actually ever help. I have to have a keyword, otherwise you get piles of crap results from the wrong century. how did ya'll fuck search up his badly?
