Was not expecting the ending of "Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning" to hit so timely today

Per a source, the Storm won't fill the open roster spot created by trading Li Yueru before tonight's game at Golden State but will ahead of their next game Tuesday at Los Angeles.

I don't care about the plus-minus: The question is not whether the Thunder lineup with Caruso is their best lineup but whether it's the best lineup in the league.

Caitlin Clark looks sufficiently ramped up

The Pacers lead the NBA in players whose skill sets seem like they'd be a problem in the playoffs but totally aren't.

He drew the foul, but another case where SGA didn't show the kind of burst we're used to with a 5-on-4 opportunity because Pascal Siakam was behind the play.

It's surprising how the Thunder have struggled with the Pacers' active hands given they have to practice against their own defense.

My colleagues and I took a stab at grading all 13 WNBA teams one month into the 2025 season www.espn.com/wnba/story/_...

Storm clinging to a one-point lead over the undefeated Lynx with 1:07 left to play in what's been a terrific, back-and-forth game.

Napheesa Collier welcomed Dominique Malonga to the W with a tough score over her in the first half, but the rookie has done an admirable job defending the MVP frontrunner. On Minnesota's last trip, Collier shot an airball from 3 over Malonga's long arms.

I'm here and curious how the market is going to treat the Pacers taking a 2-1 lead after largely shrugging off their Game 1 win and keeping Oklahoma City as heavy favorites.

As @owenphillips.bsky.social has been highlighting, teams winning the turnover battle have won 72% of games during the playoffs.

Storm played what felt like a pretty flawless first half, shooting 55% from the field with 15 assists ... and are still down one at the break. The Lynx are pretty, pretty good.

The Storm offense is so much tougher to stop when Ezi Magbegor is playing with the aggression and confidence we've seen in the first quarter tonight against Minnesota.

Went into the SportsOddsHistory.com database to look at the most surprising NBA Finals runs and where this year's Pacers rank among them, as well as what that tells us and whether we should have seen this coming after they reached the East finals a year ago: www.espn.com/nba/story/_/...

During my time working for the Storm website, they were responsible for two of the four times Quigley got cut before sticking in Chicago. Always enjoyed covering her in between those. She was the only player who at exit interviews asked us reporters what we were going to do during the W offseason.

It’s such a good play that she came up with after playing flag football and refined it with Sue Bird, who told me it works because “basketball defenses can’t guard you and hit you the way safeties in football can, so at some point they’ll be on their heels. “

A little bit of a different look to this week's leaderboard of my wins above replacement player (WARP) metric on a per-game basis with Kayla McBride now eligible (and making 55% of her 3-point attempts) and Gabby Williams cracking the list as the Storm's top player thus far.

Teamed up with @zachkram.bsky.social, @bmarksespn.bsky.social, @ramonaespn.bsky.social and @mikecwright.bsky.social for a roundtable on the first two games of the NBA Finals, arguing the first two games showed a different but real version of "Make or Miss League": www.espn.com/nba/story/_/...

The dril candles tweet, but for the Thunder putting guards in the dunker spot.

Ahead of tonight's Game 2, we've updated my piece on the Pacers' comebacks this postseason to reflect another improbable one in Game 1 of the Finals: www.espn.com/nba/story/_/...

How can the Thunder bounce back tonight to avoid falling behind 0-2 in the Finals? Here's your primer for Game 2:
