Just had a new EKG. Shows a very slight AFIB. My BP was 120/61, pulse normal. She said this was no reason to halt the surgery yesterday. But, b/c I have a form of Blood cancer, she put me on a thinner. I will follow up w/a cardiologist & my oncologist to be safe. Thank you all for you kind wishes!

Horrendous experience re: cataract surgery. It didn’t happen. Nurse did an EKG & told me I had congestive heart disease & AFIB! Said I should see my cardiologist. I don’t have a heart Dr . On the drive home, as I’m freaking out, the nurse called me to say she misread my chart.
