Something that’s not talked about enough: Even if he goes out on the wildest of limbs and assumes ICE agents are all working in good faith, your MAGA uncle has to admit they have terrible muzzle discipline. Anyone who’s ever been on a firing range knows how seriously that’s taken.

I’ve known so many people who have had to shut down their lives to give care to an elder or ailing family member. The system is so broken, and people are left to simply fend for themselves against a mountain of red tape, financial insecurity, and, of course, caring for a loved one.

As it starts raining again, I hope all my neighbors know that I really want to cut my grass, but I can’t cut soaking wet grass and it’s rained every time I have a chance to do it. Anyway, if you want to frolic in the rain and knee-high grass, come on by. Haven’t seen snakes, but I’m still hopeful.
