Theres no perfect solution for game preservation DRM free pc ports Emulation Physical copies whatever else They all have a chance of dying in some shape or form or failing to recreate the experience But they act as a safety net for each other and being apathetic to one being taken away is silly

No doubt compression will mess with things but: I really like the ability to render at a high resolution but downscale down to native res (or in this case 480p which the n64 could TECHNICALLY do) You get a best of both worlds between more visible details but notso crisp that it makes shit standout
