I see ppl all over talking about today being a "not spending day", but then shift the same spending to a different day. The bottom line stays the same, so what exactly is the goal? Someone said "sends a message to congress", but I don't understand what that message is.

How does one deal with a child's teacher that's a bit of an a-hole? My kids have ~ 9 teachers each, and this one is consistently rude (even though I'm polite). She clearly is annoyed by my child and my child is learning zero (as evidenced by her scores that are the same since fall) in her class. 1/3
