They don't want to teach history so they can repeat it.

I've put all of my Valentine's Day road trip photos in one spot on my website! kristinlraught.smugmug.com/Road-Trip-to...

Yep. Fiction are now facts

Joso High Bridge in Prescott, Washington.

Panorama of Palouse Falls makes the waterfall look not very big in relation. That's the power of water for you. My son is a water sign and that's him for sure.

What I'm assuming are alfalfa fields in Eastern Washington.

Took myself on a trip for Valentine's Day. This is at Palouse Falls in Washington State.

Snow moon rising behind the Space Needle tonight from Beautiful Bainbridge Island.

Point Wilson Lighthouse just after sunset on a clear day.

Such a gorgeous night last night in Port Townsend.

Moon behind the lighthouse.

Moonrise over Point Wilson Lighthouse in Port Townsend, WA.

Met a few deer in Port Townsend yesterday. They were so tame and adorable.

Aurora Borealis from Blue Mountain in Washington State in August of 2024.

I took these up on top of Blue Mountain during the Northern Lights we had on Aug 11, 2024. This was my "360°" view. Starting at the MW to the south, then east, north and then to the west. The lights on the mountain in the "west" photo are cars going down the road at Hurricane Ridge in Port Angeles.

I love this picture so much. I love the lines and colors and light. Those lines in the snow mirroring the string of lights on the eave of the building 😍

I gasped when I saw how beautiful the Eagle Harbor Congressional Church looked with a fresh layer of snow this morning.

Took a stroll in Winslow this morning to see the snow.

Just enough color in the sunset to make me happy tonight.

The mountain looked so dramatic this morning!

I was on the ferry today and saw this vessel, so I took a few pics. I really love boats! I googled this one since I haven't seen a boat name that seemed to be an actual name and come to find out, there's a great reason for the name of this barge! www.washington.edu/news/1997/10...

Aurora Borealis event from May 2024. I have so many from that night that I haven't shared. I'm sure they all look the same to everyone else but they are all so different for me.

Still locked out of Twitter and miss my friends there but do not miss the chaos and drama one bit! I took this in Central Washington of the Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks. It was so cloudy in Western Washington, so I took a quick drive over the pass. I can still feel how warm the ground was under my feet.
