I’m aware that much of what I say is unpopular. Still, I’m certain most of these issues will have to be addressed at some point. We need a positive vision of the future that includes constitutional reform. It doesn’t matter if the that seems impractical in the moment. Some changes are necessary.

Nothing can stop the growing economic power of women. That’s simply a function of leaving agriculture and industry (which rewarded physical strength) behind. An economy of mental effort is an economy where women compete on a level playing field. Some men are having a meltdown over this.

Church attendance at liberal churches peaked in the 1950s and has steadily declined since. It is a mistake to think that the USA had a healthy democracy and then one day woke up with Trump. In reality, it took several decades of weakening civil society to give us the possibility of Trump.
