Sanders: I want to say a word about Alexandria Person in the crowd: Future president Crowd: *cheers*

They only want to “unite” because they’re being directly affected. They’re happy to sit back and watch everyone else suffer. “I never thought the leopards would eat MY face.” The leopard was only supposed to eat all YOUR faces.

Industrious little lady bug.

The Gorge Commission, which protects the Columbia River Gorge from overdevelopment and retains its pristine nature, is defunded in the most recent WA state House budget. You can use this link from Columbia Riverkeeper to contact your reps. tinyurl.com/5yvkr97f

Always

The trillium bloom is at peak in our local park ❤️ The rarer small-flowered trillium are also blooming, and the birds were signing a lovely song in the warm evening sun as the creek flowed by.

The tariff policy changes every ten minutes. What a joke. It’s nuclear grade incompetence that would be laughable except they’re ruining people’s lives for sport. Just shameful.

On our last day, we visited Coal Creek Falls, which is an easy hike. But my nagging left knee injury just couldn't handle anymore downhill. I made it about 300 feet from the waterfall, so Tracy went down the rest of the way and took some pics for me while I rested for the walk back up.

We found time for a couple of walks when we were in Seattle as well. This was at Grass Lawn Park - a busy but beautiful place to walk.

Really difficult to pick just four photos from our ride on the Snoqualmie Valley Trail from Reinig Bridge to Rattlesnake Lake, with a detour onto the Palouse to Cascades Trail. Climbed a bunch on the way up to the lake but had a nice, nearly pedal-free coast back down. Heck of a day out there.

We rode the Cross Kirkland Corridor, where we visited our favorite frog buddy and saw some cool murals and the snow-capped Olympic Mountains.

Back from a few days in Seattle, where we rode some great trails. This one is the East Lake Sammamish Trail. The Flowering Red Currant and Magnolia trees looked lovely and we saw quite a few Mallards and American Coots.

TODAY WE MOBILIZED OVER 3 MILLION PEOPLE ACROSS THE NATION!!! This movement has entered the next chapter: the people will mobilize again, and again, until we make a difference. It only takes 3.5% of the population in a sustained resistance in order to make a difference. #50501movement

Redmond WA understood the assignment! #handsoff

I don't want to alarm anyone, but reliable sources say a large caravan of penguins is headed toward our Southern border. 🐧

Who did this?

Oh, this is gonna make the rounds. 🤡 #PenguinTariff 🐧

Disruption is all they seem to understand—so that’s exactly what they’re getting. For 14 hours, @booker.senate.gov has been on the Senate floor, speaking truth within the rules. This cannot be business as usual when our democracy’s on the line. Thank you, senator.

I’ve taken the Senate floor and will speak for as long as I’m physically able to lift the voices of Americans who are being harmed and not being heard in this moment of crisis. Watch here:

Maybe folks are better at probabilities on Bluesky!

We took Halo to Grand Central Bakery yesterday. She had a peanut butter cookie 😊

Lots of color around right now. The PNW truly excels at spring ❤️

Took a little hike with Halo bear on the trout hatchery trail system. There were lots of Trilliums blooming, some interesting fungus specimens and lots of ducks on the lake.

A couple hundred people showed up today but hundreds of cars supported with honks and cheers as they passed by us ❤️ #teslatakedown #vancouverwa

I’ve read several articles today referring to RFK Jr. or Geier as vaccine “skeptics”. I again beg the media to STOP SPREADING MISINFORMATION. They are not skeptics. They are lying, grifting, unqualified frauds who are promoting a conspiracy. “Conspiracy theorists” would be much more accurate.

And just like that, the universe aligns itself perfectly 😂❤️

NSA sent out a bulletin last month: "A vulnerability has been identified in the Signal Messenger Application. The use of Signal by common targets of surveillance & espionage activity has made the application a high value target to intercept sensitive information." www.cbsnews.com/news/nsa-sig...

Took an 8 mile ride tonight to enjoy the nice weather. The left knee is a bit sore but it held up well.

Finished up this puzzle. Missing a piece :( These cheap brands can be frustrating in that way. But it was cute, especially the bear in the tree ❤️
