You can partially thank Biden for this outright lie, as his admin in June stopped requiring Border Patrol to ask migrants if they were seeking asylum and record the answer during the arrest process. The minute that change happened, Border Patrol agents just started ignoring people’s cries for help.

This is thinking way too far ahead but I want to put the marker down that I do not think future Presidents are in any way bound by whatever the US negotiations with Russia in regard to Ukraine. This violates our prior commitments to Ukraine for nuclear disarmament and is entitled to no weight.
