one of the best pups I’ve met! Joey :) los robles trail was a sweet spot between a walk and a hike

who are the Abundant Housing folks active on here?

#volunteers: architects, planners, land-use, housing advocates: I’d like to plan a volunteer day in LA for pros to donate a few hrs of their time to meet w/ homeowners for “counter” reviews of their home. The scope would be constrained, No Design, general guidance, milestones, insurance negotiations

Hosted a meeting yesterday w/ building industry & emergency professionals on what rebuilding might look like. Planning similar for an East Side event w/Altadena focus. Who are some community organizers I should reach out to? Caltech folks monitoring air/environmental? Insurance advocates, RE agents?

absolutely unacceptable what emusk did

Time Change: Saturday Jan 25th 2:30-4:30 at a community center in Beverly Hills. Pls share. RSVP required.

Join us for a Potluck Meetup in LA Q&A w/architect Greg Chasen & Land use planner Erik Yesayan. We’ll discuss the fires, policy and rebuilding. It’s a chance to be together and talk about how to navigate the huge challenges ahead. 12:00 Saturday Jan 25th lu.ma/mhzyht7g

LA architect Michael Kovac and his environmentalist wife describe how they built fire-resiliency into the design of their home. One stood out: they had a system to squirt fire retardant on their home on-demand. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAeP...
