DF: "Before the game, not easy to stay focused. This atmosphere. I was emotional. When you walk in, hear this noise, sense how much it means to people, the pure joy. It was very special. You think why I signed the contract two years ago. Found a club that was divided and wanted to unite it." #lufc

So nice going into the weekend just feeling happy about football regardless of what happens

there's a local kebab place whose website claims to have a PDF of the menu, but when you open the PDF it's just a single photo of a kebab and chips

Same

👊 RUTHLESS PERFORMANCE!!

Some day

Let’s hope Leeds can do the pope proud today and rise again on Easter Monday

RIP to a real one 🫡 best pope of my lifetime

Orient back in the playoffs… very nice 👍🏽

Why even have a brain, any ideas, any ability to express them, any kind of communication with other people, any desire to solve problems or invent anything, any reason to learn, any use for your eyes or your heart, or any reason to teach or create

Seen a lot of people posting that as some sort of gotcha. 20% of the population saying that they’d be better off working in manufacturing actually seems like a lot? I don’t think there’s any inconsistency here

www.gov.uk/government/n... we are weeks away from a headline along the lines of “Starmer launches bold plan to fix economy by selling advertising on all government mugs in a move that could raise 1000s of pounds”

Steve Coogan explains the reason we have sewage in our rivers & lakes is because of a 35yr failed experiment with water privatisation, its a broken system & the private companies have extracted over £80bn in that period. "It should be taken back into public ownership". Spot on!

As the article (in thread) says, outsize SUVs cost the public purse more in terms of strain on the infrastructure & pollution, and are far more dangerous for pedestrians & cyclists. Yes, we should tax them and their usage heavily. Why on Earth should the rest of us subsidise this obnoxious trend?

Is it good when you take one of the most famous hate triangles in international politics and do stuff so bad they put on a united front

Marine le penitentiary 😂

I am 100 per cent convinced we will play in the championship next season

How do we do this every time man fuck sake

Starmer's Britain.

Keir Starmer's promised 'decade of national renewal' is increasingly promising to be a decade of national disappointment instead www.adambienkov.co.uk/p/austerity-...

Next time Starmer and Reeves say there's too much regulation, remember this. This is what a deregulated economy looks like, and we all pay for it, with our health, our ecosystems and, eventually - when the massive clean-up / land abandonment bill can no longer be avoided - our wallets.

This doesn’t seem that bad?

This article is literally not even a year old yet

Labours approach to growing the economy appears to be the equivalent of burning down your house in order to reduce your heating bills

The Irish have started calling Conor McGregor, ‘Andrew Tayto’.
