The #IFFR (Rotterdam) is such a great film festival. Due to train troubles both up and down the route only 2 films this year (Friday at 23.30 and Saturday at 09.45) but lots of films to keep an eye on.

In recovery mode. Yesterday the last bus was cancelled, no taxis available, so I had to walk home for 12 km (2.5 hours) in the freezing night. Chills, a temperature and cramps later, I went to bed. My feet eventually returned to their normal temperature after 10 hours in bed.

Tegen iemand met long covid zeggen dat je vast opknapt van meer lopen is ongeveer als tegen iemand in een rolstoel zeggen dat die vast opknapt van meer lopen. Onzichtbare ziektes zijn ook aanwezig. De beperkingen niet minder echt. En zo'n opmerking toont vooral dat je de ziekte niet kent.
