I’m putting this here in the hope that “do something” people will read it and realize that Democrats can’t do much about the coming cuts to social safety nets. If folks wanted Democrats to “do something” they should have given them the power of checks and balances on Election Day 🤷🏾‍♀️

There are already disabled people who die while waiting for social security to be approved. Punishingly long delays, frequent rejections & little interim support exists. A 50% reduction in staff will kill many more. Stand up for disabled people. We are often the first targets, never the last
