I got bored at work so I played a solo game in my head, using a digital clock with seconds display to answer questions I had- odd for no, even for yes. Without any access to my phone, dice, or paper larger than a post-it note, I had nothing but my imagination and a binary resolution system.

When you tell someone with a disability or chronic illness to "just go to the doctor" it doesn't sound concerned, it sounds like "your illness is inconveniencing me and you need to fix it" Most of us go to the doctor all the time (if we can afford it), we're not stupid or staying sick on purpose 🙄🙃
