Chris has wanted to tidy up our mess of routers and Pis for a while. Behold the DeskPi - with a load of power over Ethernet stuff. Rather than a whole Billy bookcase full of wires it’s now been condensed into this. He was happy as a pig in sh!t while making his custom Ethernet cables.

Printed a stand to hold my AirPods Max. Not quite perfect as it doesn’t account for the silicon covers, and I’d be keen to see if I could add a cutout for a wireless charging cable. But it’ll do for now to help tidy my desk up a bit.

New desk pad day! I’ve loved my LTT one but it didn’t match my vibes 🤣 What I need, is somewhere in the UK that sells coiled cables for split keyboards. Used to use Pexon but they are no more. Any recommendations from the keyboard hive mind? Need to tidy up some more but it’s coming along.

We are home and he’s been snuggly and drowsy. They didn’t find much chocolate in his stomach thank goodness. But it was all over his teeth and mouth 🤣 Will he learn his lesson? Will he f*ck. Apparently he was well behaved though and just wanted cuddles and playtime from everyone 💙

FFS Orion. Unsurprisingly the laptop displays an “invalid”’password warning behind her butt. She is obsessed with this laptop (kicks out a lot of heat). I need to invest in a proper KVM 🤣 and possibly a third monitor. (I already have two other laptops, a PC and a Switch on this desk) 🙈

Finally setting up my new Voyager keyboard. Got lots of tinkering with different layouts to do! As much as I’ve loved the compactness of the Atreus, a few more keys would be great but I mostly miss having the split halves. Much better for my posture. Any other keeb nerds here?

5 days in to Invisalign and I’m now very reacquainted with the dull ache of your teeth moving 😭 It’s been over 25 years since I had wired braces but somehow you never forget that sensation! Another 36 hours with this set and then on to tray 2 of 16. I’m so paranoid about things going wrong!
