mask story In late 1990s my baby caught a respiratory virus in the hospital he was born in. It was incubating when we went home. Next afternoon I heard him making a strange noise & ran to him. He was blue. That's why masks should always have been used around newborns. He survived. It was traumatic.

This is my lovely eccentric half Burmese cat's favourite way to get in the sleep mood. Suckling a dressing gown. His dressing gown!

What's your favourite breakfast? One of mine is The Queen's Scrambled Eggs. My husband makes it to cheer me up sometimes. It features butter, lemon zest and parsley and was Queen Elizabeth's favourite🥚

Great read

Have had a headache all day affecting me functionally. Not a migraine but sapping. Can’t have NSAIDs so had paracetamol, that didn’t work. Lay with a hot pack on my face. That worked until it was off. Added diazepam and a sleep. Worked but then more sapped. Glad this day is ending. 🛌

An aged care place has been found for my dad. One of the better in terms of quality and cost. BUT it will cost $630 MORE than his pension weekly until his modest unit is sold for the deposit (RAD). $630 more than his pension. Every week. Just wrong. Australia

I’m pro free aged care, like free hospital. The Australian aged care system is very stressful and complicated to deal with when finding somewhere for a vulnerable loved one. The system totally destroys lower middle asset people’s assets to nothing within a few years. Everything my dad worked for.

Woke up today and didn't feel great physically or emotionally but I rallied and thought about the meaning of life. Decided to refocus on love. Loving my loved ones through actions. So, mundane as it is, I did a few tasks my husband usually does and I did my son's toes and fingernails. ❤️

Besides breaching patient confidentiality these “studies” will cost the American population an enormous amount. What is his true goal? Pseudo “Proving” vaccines cause autism? Imagine all the health issues needing this huge attention. Support people with Autism, don’t put them on a list!

Paxlovid use acutely may reduce the incidence of stroke in the “long COVID period”. That means you don't need to have PERSISTENT symptoms to have #longCOVID because you can be asymptomatic up to the point of having a stroke (possibly due to viral persistence). We need a definition change.

☘️ 🌵 Weird. I had about 25 indoor plants. One by one they've been dying. We're moving interstate later this year. It's like they know! I'm down to 8 and three are unhappy.
