Assigning a turn that "just so happens" to be delayed enough to require the crew to extend to complete the trip, knowing it could have been staffed with a well rested crew instead, is a violation of civility. And it's the reason regionals continue grinding crews to dust. More accidents will happen.

Someone should clarify: A descent into water is not a collision. It is just "a crash". Two planes impacting is "a collision". Not sure it's prudent to tie the recency to Trump's inaug, since any EOs or even legislation would not have had any effect this quickly.

I won't bother anyone with the notion that my 520 hours of flying this year came with any importance. I passed 1000 hours as a captain last month, and am applying to make 2025 a much richer experience for myself. Hoping for news on that front soon
