The US will now need decades to show they're trustworthy again. Trump has ruined them. Europe need to gradually go away from the US. Even if someone good gets elected in 2028, you can't trust the Americans to not elect an idiot 4 years later. Very sad it's come to this.

I don’t know if I speak for the majority of Europeans. I could be on my own with this. But I’d be prepared to pay more in tax to help increase defence spending, aid to Ukraine and foreign aid spending. Also, please Keir Starmer. Rejoin the customs union, already. It makes total sense.

The idea that President Zelenskyy should apologise for his behaviour in the Oval Office is so unbelievably twisted, it’s like telling an assault victim that if they say something nice to their assailant it won’t happen again. We really cannot normalise this narrative.
