Just one of those days. Found a massive tick bite, had to go to the doc for an immensely painful procedure, was passive-aggressively sworn at because I parked in a handicapped spot that I legally qualify for, and then it took 2 hours to drive home. If anyone needs me, I will be in bed with my dogs.

My husband called me a nerd. While watching Star Trek, I started to quote “Ode to Spot” alongside Data, then I called out that Dr. Crusher was wrong telling Riker that there are amino acids in lactose. Amino acids build proteins, lactose is a disaccharide! Any first year biochem student would know!

I’m pretty sure everyone’s favourite way to spend the evening is cleaning up after a leaky garbage bag that spills everywhere. Both dogs just got a surprise bath as well because they were caught by the garbage juice deluge. Is it too soon to throw in the towel for 2025?
