I see no reason to fly anywhere while these reckless cuts are being made. Make sure they know that their profits are not worth your life.

Safety regulations are written in the blood of accident victims. Rolling back these regulations and governing bodies does two things: 1. It states that those victims of terrible accidents died for nothing. 2. It states that your blood is needed to convince them otherwise.

Look up salaries for professors at your nearby public university. It's all public data. A job in industry would pay far more than an academic job.

I'll take this as a sign that the Crew will release their own version of the jazz kit in a few years

Another perspective here from my experience in numerical modeling in engineering. There's a common phrase in the field: garbage in, garbage out. If your input arguments are bad, then you won't get good or correct results. But there's another aspect to this which is important.
