I love the challenge of photographing swallows and swifts in flight. It’s so hard to get a decent image of these tiny, fast flyers. It’s unseasonably warm today and I noticed this young White-crowned Sparrow doing some sunning in my yard. It’s the first time I’ve seen this behavior from the species. It was followed by vigorous preening. #addBirder #birds #birdbehavior
