Occasionally I'm haunted by memories from my time in automotive retail. Ever seen 4 people with a combined weight of 1500lbs exit a Geo Metro? I have and the scary part was the 150lb driver that asked for me brake pads for it. Took a lot to not ask them if they needed new shocks as well.

Hello to the rest of the "fucking daylight savings time has me up early, might as well catch an early train" crowd.

Rather than "Return to Office" or the more bullshit "Return to Work" we should refer to it as "Forced to Office". Seems the most accurate. Or maybe "Demanded to Commute". Either is more accurate.

It is CES time. Which means exciting news from companies you haven't heard of. Such as "BrownStreak.AI introducing AI enhanced robotic toilet cleaner" and "AI.Wype offering sophisticated bidet solutions for Generative AI and LLMs!"

Follow up to my prior tech news post. How long before we see "AI Pharma startup Botpharamx releases new virtual treatment for AIs experiencing hallucinations. CEO Yusuke Kurama expects record Q1 revenue! Stated 'There is a massive market for mental health services for AI models ready to be seized!'"

Following tech news is a surreal experience at times. You read headlines like "Lumpontix acquires AI prompt flavor injection plugin startup Vignixlto" and just question if what you read was real or a clickbait AI hallucination.

Remember RSS feeds and the control involved? If you wanted to publish content it would go on there. And if I wanted your content I would subscribe and it would conveniently show up. It was a simple solution. No algorithm pushing random crap.
