An excellent thread, and there's a lot of tangents about media literacy this ties into. People liked Walter White because his situation was real, relatable, and reacted in viscerally extreme ways people sometimes wish they could. Watching an understanding it was fiction is part of the literacy.

I have a very strange and specific distaste for guitar YouTube content that is just 30-60s clips of playing, but produced and filmed in as high quality as possible.
